Along with the increasing use
of the Internet through various devices, opportunities for hackers to attack
Internet network even bigger. The
hackers increasingly evolved with more sophisticated means.
"Our records, in our
(Indonesian) 1.5 million hacker attacks the internet every day," said Rudi
Lumanto, Chairman of the Indonesian Security Incident Response Team on Internet
Infrastructure (ID-SIRTII) in internet security discussions at the Ministry of
Communication and Information, Tuesday March
20, 2012.
He added that the trend of
Internet attacks in Indonesia and developing countries tend to still use social
engineering. The
trick is to break into the data through the communication approach with other
users. While
in developed countries the trend is done by the hackers using technical
engineering technology.
"Indonesia is still a
matter for the scale of identity fraud," he said.
However, he cautioned that
Internet crime is also a potential attack to countries such as malware that
attacks the plant Stutnext nuclear Iran. "Moreover,
the migration of Internet crime in various countries," he said.
Rudi said that the Internet
attacks that occurred in Indonesia based SQL program, DOS, ICNT, and malware. It
noted that the attack at the end of the year and the beginning of the year is
likely to increase. "And
it's got the potential to double," he added.
For that he hoped that all
users have a high awareness in the surf, especially institutions that have
important data. Rudi
said currently disosisalisasikan CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team),
Internet monitoring team to apply to the institution.
"We hope that every
institution has a CERT. Currently existing Community CERT, CERT Academy, and
there will be a Government CERT," he said.
In the order, the end of this
month with ID SIRTII funded by the Ministry of Communications will hold an
international conference about internet security in Bali, the Asian Pacific CERT
and CERT Technical Colloquim.
"Here as container CERT
collaboration also share knowledge about internet crime prevention in many
countries," said Rudi. In
