Vice Governor of Jakarta Tjahaja Basuki Purnama (Ahok) disappointed with the management of Ragunan Zoo, South Jakarta. Ahok not want visitors who come just to see lions yawning cage.
According Ahok, there should be a new innovation for the management of Ragunan. Because he did not want that in fact there is a zoo in the capital, but it looks monotonous since decades ago.
"Because, Ragunan has an area of 120 hectares in the city center should be an exceptional tourism," said Ahok in Jakarta, Thursday (13/6).
Former member of the House of Representatives Commission II plans to cooperate with such Ragunan Ancol to change the Safari Park. "We no longer think to Ancol cooperation with night safari or the Safari Park," he said ..
Ahok insisted he was not satisfied with the look of the current Ragunan Zoo. Because the city government always gives a subsidy of Rp 40 billion.
"We subsidy of Rp 40 billion over the Ragunan conditions is not clear. Managed so incompetent parties, Surabaya less the same," he said.
Ahok plans to overhaul the management ranks Ragunan Zoo. It is intended that the existing management system to change and have a new breakthrough to satisfy the visitors especially the children.
