Governor Joko Widodo said he fully supports the acceleration of
monorail project work majors Bekasi-Jakarta-Soekarno Hatta airport. The man who was familiarly called this Jokowi requested project work no more than three years.
He also targets this year to begin construction of the project for the first time in Indonesia.
"If you can not be more than 3 years," he said when met at his office, Jakarta, Saturday (29/6).
Jokowi optimistic Jakarta capital city can compete with other countries in creating a comfortable area for the people in it.
In anticipation of the establishment piling congestion monorail, he added, Jakarta Transportation Department will conduct traffic management at the points that are expected to experience congestion.
"But whatever (obstacles) that must be done," he said.
Previously, there were two lines of development that is the Green Line monorail (green line) which is a rotating line along 14.275 km with 16 stations ranging from Komdak - Kusuma Candra - JSE - Main Stadium - Plaza Senayan - TVRI - Taman Ria Senayan - MPR / DPR - potty - Rubber - Honolulu - Sky View North - Central Brass - Taman Rasuna - Casablanca - Grand Melia - Satria Mandala.
Other lines are the Blue Line (blue line) which is elongated along the 9.725 km track with 11 stations ranging from Kampung Melayu - Tebet - Dr Sahardjo - Menteng Dalam - Casablanca - Ambassador - Dharmala Sakti - Menara Batavia - Rubber - Kebun Kacang - Tanah Abang - Cideng - Roxy.
If the monorail has been in operation, predictable fare ticket Rp 9,500 to Rp 10,000 for one way. Technical Director of PT Jakarta Monorail Bovanantoo said the target user segment of rail-based mass transportation monorail are people from the middle class down.
