Party (PKS) not only
brings a background of
legislative candidates in the
2014 election the Islamic religion.
MCC was also nominated
a number of non-Muslim
candidates in the
upcoming 2014 election.
"There are pastors who become
candidates in Eastern
Indonesia," said Secretary General MCC, Taufik Ridho,
told reporters in Jakarta, Monday (22/4).
Taufik declared
non-Muslim candidates

for the constituency of East Indonesia, such as North Sulawesi, Central
Sulawesi, West Sulawesi,
Papua, and West
Papua. "It needs
like that," he said.
Candidate-non-Muslim
candidates carried PKS for contesting seats in the provincial parliament

PKS brings two non-Muslim
candidates from the electoral district of Papua and West Papua. Here PKS targeting one

Taufik stated

majority of caleg PKS have background S1.
They were 57 percent
proportion. Next, caleg educational background in S2 as much as 21.7
percent, S3 6.3
percent, and SMA
12.4 percent.
