Demo rejection rising prices of fuel oil (BBM) today held in the offices of government agencies, not least the Jakarta City Hall. Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also said he wondered why his office went along with the demonstration.
"It's okay, demonstrations yes please," Jokowi said after a coordination meeting at the Office of Ministry, Jakarta, Monday (17/6).
Jokowi claimed to be surprised by the mass demonstrations that come to his office. According to him, the demo reject the fuel price hike is not appropriate and does not connect if there is at City Hall.
"Want ya ass in the demo at City Hall fuel problems?" Jokowi said with wonder.
