Lebanon Syria Attacks Sworn Reply


Lebanese President Michel Sleiman and military, vowing to respond to violations of the sovereignty of the Syrian military conducted. As is known, Syria launched an attack helicopter to the city of Arsal in the Bekaa Valley is located, Lebanon.

Syria announced, they launch an attack on the terrorist group ran into Lebanese territory, some of them reportedly the target of attacks hit but the rest managed to flee into Arsal. Syrian military reiterated, they will protect the country with "respect" the sovereignty of Lebanon.

An hour after the attack appeared, Sleiman immediately commented. Sleiman said Lebanon has the right to defend its sovereignty and protect its citizens. Lebanon was able to cast a protest letter to the Arab League and the United Nations (UN) for the incident.

"Syrian troops attack helicopter that appears many times and attacked the city of Arsal, tantamount to violating Lebanon's sovereignty," said Sleiman, told The Daily Star, Thursday (06/13/2013).

Sleiman added that the attack was also damage the bilateral agreements that have been established Beirut and Damascus. For now, the Lebanese army began preparing for the breach of sovereignty.

"We will take the necessary steps to survive. Helicopter Syria had violated the sovereignty of Lebanon in Arsal because they fired two rockets into the region," a statement from the Lebanese army.

As is known, Arsal become a haven for Syrian refugees who have fled from their homes. The city was filled with people supporting the Syrian opposition.
