French film producer, Zidane William Estel will capture Ternate,
North Maluku, in a documentary. The documentary will be broadcasted on
television stations in France in June 2013.
"Ternate tourism is quite famous in France, especially its colonial
era, natural scenery and marine tourism area," Estel said. He chooses
the Citadel Park Promise, Maitara Island and Pulau Tidore.
The location includes beautiful scenery and Maitara Tidore Island,
while in the west people can see the peak of Mount Gamalama continuesly
erupts its volcanic fumes. Estel also expressed his appreciation to
freindly people of Ternate who showed their cooperate during the
shooting.
Ternate is an island in the Maluku Islands (Moluccas) of eastern
Indonesia. It was the center of the powerful former Sultanate of
Ternate. Ternate is a visually dramatic cone-shaped island ruled by
ancient Islamic sultanates for centuries.
