Hijab sometimes made her lazy hair care. When in fact hair is kept closed by a veil it requires special care.

Plus the Indonesian climate that tends to heat each year. This leads to the covered hijab hair easy to dry, broken, hair loss, itching, and dull. Not infrequently also become oily hair and odor.

"Women who wear hijab hair care should not underestimate them just because their hair invisible. Were clean and healthy hair can make a woman more confident," said Suzanne Santos, spokesman Aesop, hair care company.

"Women should take care of their hair hijab as they care for the skin," he added, as quoted by the New Straits Times

Aesop gives some tips for hair care for women hijab, the following:

  1. Let your hair breathe. Take advantage of open air when possible as often as possible.
  2.  Comb hair gently and carefully to prevent broken hair and split ends.
  3. Wash it every two or three days, and dry the hair naturally. This will reduce the possibility of loss of essential nutrients to the hair and excessive pressure on the hair roots.
  4. Use hair conditioner that suits. Allow up to five minutes before washing it. Conditioner can help keep hair moisture and softness.
  5. Use a hair mask once a week to keep hair to keep it healthy and glowing.
  6. Do not let the hair 'baked' and too hot because of the sun by using a hijab piles. Do not also tie your hair too tight when wearing hijab. Both of these can make hair fall out easily.
  7. Plenty of drinking water to keep the hair moisture.
  8. Consumption of foods that contain essential nutrients for the hair, such as salmon (omega-3 essential for maintaining healthy scalp), milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, green vegetables, almonds, raisins, whole grains, and fruits.
Those are some tips to keep hair healthy and beautiful despite wearing a hijab. Although covered hijab, do not be lazy to care for and maintain healthy hair.
