Origins of Meatballs

At the end of the Ming Dynasty (early 17th century) in Fuzhou, there was a man named Meng Bo, living in a small village. He's a good personality and dutiful to his parents. Meng Bo devotion to his mother very known by the neighbors. One day, his mother was getting old was not able to eat meat again, because her teeth have started to not be able to eat something that is a bit harsh. It's a bit disappointing because he loved to eat meat.
Meng Bo wants to help her mother to be able to eat delicious meat again. Sitting all night, thinking about how to process meat that can be eaten by the mother. Until one day, he saw his neighbor to be pounding glutinous rice cake mochi. Seeing this, the idea arose. Meng Bo went straight to the kitchen and meat processing with its neighbors in a way that used to make mochi cakes. Once the meat is tender, Meng Bo shaping it into small dots so his mother can eat it easily. Then he boiled dough, the smell of delicious meat.
Meng Bo serves it to his mother's meatballs. The mother was happy because not only the meatballs were delicious, but also easy to eat. Meng Bo was happy to see her be able to eat meat again.
Meng Bo berbaktinya story to her mother along with meatballs recipe, quickly spread throughout the city of Fuzhou. Residents came to learn to make tasty meatballs on Meng Bo.
