Google and Motorola Prepares iPhone 5 Competitor




One of the goals to be achieved by Google when it acquired Motorola is patent. Motorola is known as the company that owns 17,000 patents and 7,500 patent applications. By having Motorola and its patent, Google is believed to compete with rivals such as Apple and its partners to protect from lawsuits.

In addition, this acquisition, the largest in Google's history, will also mark the most significant step the Internet giant to jump into the hardware business, a new market where they have little experience.

Until now, since it was purchased with a value of 12.5 billion U.S. dollars in May, Motorola has yet to launch a smartphone product really well. Have not seen signs of Motorola will launch a device that is able to compete with Apple's iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy S series. However, in 2013, a trusted source ensures Motorola will again speak in the competitive arena of smart phones.

Currently, according to the source, Google and Motorola are working on two smartphone products. The first product is intended for in-bundling with U.S. operators, Verizon Wireless.

Second of these products to be used as a weapon to compete against Apple and Samsung in the smartphone market. For a while, it is still not known the name of the device. However, to begin with, many people who call this device codenamed "X Phone".

Still nothing too much detailed information regarding the X Phone. However, the source of leaked Motorola will use Viewdle technology, a developer of imaging software and the introduction of the movement which was recently acquired by Google.

Super smartphone from Motorola is rumored to be using a ceramic material, has a panoramic camera, and voice recognition features natively.

Once completed later developed X Phone, Motorola will not go past the break. They will immediately focus on developing a tablet device.

Quoted by Reuters on Saturday (12/22/2012), Google CEO, Larry Page, has promised to provide marketing funds in significant numbers for the devices.
