3 Mobile Operators Unite for Mobile Ads


The three major cellular operators in Indonesia, Telkomsel, Indosat and XL Axiata, united to promote the advertising business on mobile devices, on Thursday (05/02/2013). All three provide Mobile Ad Platform is ready to be sent to each customer.
In this partnership, the three mobile operators provide service delivery through SMS and MMS advertising. In addition, they also provide digital display advertising in the form of banner. All ads can be delivered on the basis of location, web site landing pages, up to the user profile.
Senior GM m-Finance Technology, Content & New Business XL Axiata, Yessie D. Yosetya said, mobile operators have strength in presenting advertisements on mobile devices. "Mobile is much more powerful and targeted because the ads can be displayed based on the user's profile or location base," he said.

"I personally hope the digital advertising market share could increase by between 5 to 10 percent in 2015," said Adrian.
