Deputy Commander
of the Army of the Islamic
Republic of Iran said Tehran would introduce
new weapons and military
equipment made in the country that has been developed,
in military maneuvers
in the central province
of Isfahan on May 24.
"A number of armored personnel carriers, weapons, sniper rifles,
anti-aircraft batteries
and missile launchers will be introduced in the exercises held Baitul Muqaddas
Army," said Brigadier General
Kioumars Heidari as
reported by the official IRNA news
agency.
He added,
in a maneuver that
coded Baitul Muqaddas

to new threats. Over the last few years, Tehran has held several military exercises
to improve the defense
capabilities as well as testing
the armed forces and military tactics and
