Touch Screen, Third Generation Ultrabook?

Intel decided to make the touch screen functionality to the standard specification for the third generation ultrabook devices besutannya.

According to anonymous sources, reported by Digitimes, Intel's ultrabook device will slide in the near future after the company's Haswell chip platform released early June.

However, to meet that standard, the entire cost is expected to increase by about U.S. $ 70-80, or the equivalent of Rp680-780 thousand, per unit ultrabook.

Intel expects its partners can market their ultrabook at an affordable price level for the market. On the other hand, this strategy is feared making profits shrink.

Market demand for touch screen panels are not as strong as before, even down 20 percent, because the price is quite high when it comes to consumers.

Although Intel has recently increased by 20 per cent of marketing subsidies, and guarantees on partners to supply major components, including touch panels, the sources inside Intel remains less certain steps are not profitable for the company's entire business.
