Real Betis has signed a two-year contract with Danish goalkeeper Stephan Andersen, with an option for a third year. "This is a great opportunity to be able to join the club and play for the first time in the Spanish league," Andersen said as quoted from page Betis.
"They've lived a very good season and qualify for the Europa League next season. I also know they have fantastic supporters and a great tradition," he said.
The 30-year-old previously played in Ligue 1, Evian. He entered into the Danish squad at Euro 2004, World Cup 2010, and became the main goalkeeper at Euro 2012 replacing the injured Thomas Sorensen.
Former Charlton Athletic goalkeeper and Brondby it will be introduced to Betis in July. Betis last season's seventh place finish in La Liga Spain and will play in the Europa League next season.
