Space exploration developed
countries has reached is
exploring the planet Mars and asteroids to
explore within the next few years.
Do not want to miss too much, Indonesia
apparently now beginning to come to develop the technology to explore outer space.
The first step is
to independently launch
a satellite. This target is
expected to be achieved during the
next dozen years.
"In 2025,
we will be able
to launch its own satellite.
Afterwards we headed
to the Moon program," said Head of the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN), Bambang S.
Tedja, Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
He explains
lunar exploration program will be the benchmark for
advanced exploration. He was convinced in
2025, along with the realization of the national space airport, Indonesia
may launch a satellite that will orbit at an
altitude of 650 kilometers.
"We can
be the one in due course. Moreover, next year we
will launch a rocket
for a test," said Bambang.
The belief
is based on the readiness of Space agency launched the
RX-550 rocket Sonda next year. It
is a satellite launch rocket booster measuring
6 meters, diameter of 550 millimeters, and
weighs 3 tons.
"It is able to reach a height of more
than 100 km, and reach up to 300
km," he said.
Space agency has
conducted a static test rocket RX-550 in 2011 and 2012.
Static testing is
a testing ground to determine the performance and rocket thrust at
take-off. In 2013 and 2014
RX-550 will
undergo flight test each one and level two levels.
Although Indonesia
is optimistic that 2025 will be capable of launching satellites independently, Indonesian Bambang admitted
must overcome the
challenge of placing satellites
in space slot. "Slot
it should diiisi.'s
Just still a challenge,"
he said.
