Tested the Nokia Lumia 520 in Jakarta


Nokia officially launch smartphones based on Windows Phone 8 at an affordable price, the Lumia 520, in Indonesia, on Friday (05/03/2013). One device is priced at Rp 1,975,000 in Indonesia.

Before actually present on the market, KompasTekno been given the opportunity to try out first Windows Phone 8 devices based on this.

Nokia uses the plastic casing for the series Lumia 520. Even so, this device feels solid when held.

When compared to the Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 520 comes with a much more mini size. The eldest brother comes with a screen measuring 4.5 inches with a resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels. The size is also quite large, ie 130.3 x 70.8 x 10.7 mm and weighs 185 grams. This series is one device is actually less comfortable to grip by the hand.

Lumia 520 comes with a slightly smaller screen, which is 4 inches. Diperkecilnya screen makes it supports any resolution is reduced to 800 x 480 pixels. The specs are not too high, when compared to a smartphone, which was launched recently. However, the specification is considered adequate to carry out daily activities, such as browsing and playing games that are not too heavy.

Storage media smartphone is only available in 8GB capacity only. However, consumers can increase the capacity by using a microSD card up to 64GB.

Broadly speaking, the Lumia 520 is suitable for the beginning smartphone users (first time user) a new switch from feature phones and young people.
