This average Internet Speed ​​World

Global peak connection speed increased by an average of 4.6 percent each quarter to 16.6 Mbps. Hong Kong once again become the country with the most high-speed Internet connection, that is equal to 57.5 Mbps, up 6.2 percent from the previous quarter.

What about Indonesia?

Based on observations of Akamai, the average growth speed of connections each year in Indonesia reached 86 percent, with the highest average speed of each quarter by quarter increased by 21 percent to 1.4 Mbps.

Based on the survey results, the fourth quarter of 2012 recorded an average mobile network connection speeds ranging from 8.0 Mbps (high) up to 345 Kbps (low). Data recorded by Ericsson shows that mobile data traffic more than doubled compared to 2011, and increased 28 percent between the third quarter of 2012.
