Indonesian Military Power Rating 15 World

Sourced from the Library of Congress, CIA.gov, EIA.gov. Wikipedia, energy.eu and SIPRI.org, military analysis site Global Fire Power (GFP) released the list of 68 countries that have the greatest military power.

With 438,410 active personnel, 400 tanks, 444 aircraft and 187 helicopters and 150 warships, military force Indonesia was ranked 15 in the world, above and below Egypt Iran. GFP is said, the Indonesian military forces not only dwell in the country alone but was able to resist the invasion of other countries.

Why Indonesia has a good ranking by GFP? Because the calculation of GFP is not only focused on the number and sophistication of armaments. GFP ranking based on "power index," which Indonesia is 0.7614, while the U.S. has a power rating of 1 index of 0.2457 followed by Russia and China respectively 0.2618 and 0.3351.

Power 40 index itself is influenced by factors such as total population, active personnel, weaponry total land, sea and air, logistics, base, production and consumption of oil and others. While nuclear power does not count. Actually rank Indonesia two times the rate of decline after the update in April. At that time Indonesia was ranked number 13.
