Noise levels must be addressed immediately Puna

Puna Wulung while testing
Wulung Puna, which has a weight specification weight of 120 kg, length 4.32 meters, wingspan of 6.36 meters and height of 1.32 meters has been successfully tested at Halim air base on October 11, yesterday. But there are still some "issues" in Puna that must be addressed, one of which is a high noise level. It is said, the sound is very noisy Wulung Puna, even still more noisy than the Super Tucano aircraft. This certainly is not good and a weakness for a reconnaissance aircraft and can be an easy target for the enemy.
In addition to noise issues, Puna mileage is also not free from the spotlight. Puna range is 70 miles, actually it's already a good start. However UAV (drone) developed by the developed countries of the range is exceeded. Not reach Puna away is because control has not been done with the satellite, it is still limited to a straight line without a hitch. If there are obstacles like mountains and tall buildings, Puna Wulung so out of control.

Research and Technology Minister Gusti Muhammad Hatta, who criticized the noise issue Puna says "There is still noisy, if it lurks in the enemy, just heard his voice, already hidden enemy first," Gusti said during a press conference unmanned test aircraft at Base Ops Halim Air Base, Jakarta, Thursday, October 11 yesterday. That requires research and further development if it is intended for military Alutsista.
However, Gusti claims will promote the unmanned aircraft starting next year, as a result of the work of the Indonesian nation to be proud of. "Next year, we will promote it, such as electric cars," he explained. "And I hope reconnaissance aircraft technology no longer using technology from other countries," he added.

"Regardless of the level of noise and mileage Wulung Puna, we should still appreciate the domestically-made aircraft"

Apparently still a lot of homework to do BPPT-Research and the Ministry of Defense to enhance Wulung Puna. It's good to set up some sort of future joint teams or task forces for national UAV. Because as we all know, in this country a lot of agencies that conduct research UAV, but the results are not much different. There Lapan, Dislitbangau, to private companies. If only all the potential it together, the human resources and funds will not be in vain and only ended in prototype form only. And finally, Indonesia actually has a capable UAV.
Regardless of the high level of noise generated by the Unmanned Aircraft (Puna), we should mengapreasi plane Balitbang development results and the BPPT. Americans who have the resources and research funds are abundant just take many years to develop a weapon. In fact some of them are products fail, or succeed, but not according to the time and cost targets.
