Daughter of former President Sukarno, Rachmawati Sukarnoputri questioned cap 'traitors' who pinned on his father's country as stipulated in Article 6 of the Decree of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR-TAP) Number 1/MPR/2003.
He also questioned why the Bung Karno is a traitor who actually received the title of hero.
"People who are labeled traitors even given the title of hero, twice. I want to know where a traitor awarded a national hero," said Rachmawati in the Constitutional Court (MK), Jl Medan Merdeka Barat, Jakarta, Monday (25/3) .
Rachmawati said the allegation against her father's traitorous have a negative impact on the family both legally and politically. Moreover, according to him, his family often under pressure in the form of terror, intimidation and deprivation such as the difficulty of obtaining a formal education because communists claimed.
In addition, Rachmawati also see the government has no faith in President Sukarno's set as a hero, because it does not eliminate the traitor cap. He had no particular interest in the suspect behind awarding the title.
"I do not know what the pragmatic agenda, until the government is toying with TAP MPRS," said Rachmawati.
On that basis, Rachmawati then choose to apply for judicial review against the phrase 'good for final' contained in Article 6 of the TAP-MPR to the Court. He also asked the Court stated that the phrase contrary to the 1945 Constitution.
