Sukarno and Suharto, Malaysia did not dare call 'indon'

Malaysians often refer to Indonesia as 'indon'. These words seem to be harassment. In one language, indon can be interpreted as a prostitute. Indon designation was considered synonymous with the workers and helpers.

If the Indonesian people angry, people mengeles Malaysia. They said the designation Indon just an abbreviation. Indonesia is considered too long, so abbreviated Indon.

Where the first dare harass the neighboring country Indonesia as indon. President Sukarno was still clearly cries inflame Dwi Komando Rakyat (Dwikora) to wage war on the border of Sabah and Sarawak in 1963. Since that's the slogan 'crush Malaysia' became popular.

"If we are hungry that ordinary

If we shame the usual djuga

But if we are hungry or ashamed because Malaysia, less Adjar!

Muster troops to Borneo, we Hajar tjetjunguk Malayan it!

O'clock and brush to it that the land and the air we diindjak-indjak by Malaysian bastard ... "shouted Sukarno.

President Soeharto era, Indonesia is also respected by Malaysia. Even in ASEAN, Indonesia is known as 'The Big Brother' or a respected elder brother. Relationship of President Suharto and Prime Minister Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad was also good. Mahathir had great respect for President Suharto.

"Pak Harto was a president of a great country, but he never forgot that the two countries were allied nation that does not want hostile. I am honored to be accepted as a friend of Pak Harto," Mahathir recalled in the book 'Pak Harto The Untold Stories' published by Scholastic Press.

"We should not be comparing Indonesia and Malaysia. Indonesia is a vast country with many islands, large population with tribes possessed. While Malaysia is a small country so we more easily take care of something. So Pak Harto greater glory than the glory in Malaysia, "Mahathir said sincerely.

Now, masihkan Malaysian leaders praised the leaders in Indonesia?
