PT Indonesian
Aerospace (PT
DI) since 2002 has
been a major supplier
of components for Airbus aircraft,
either Airbus Military and Airbus SAS as commercial aircraft
manufacturers.
PT DI president
director Budi Santoso, explaining collaboration with Airbus is
very important for the
company's financial condition. Although
the amount received is
not as big as compared
to selling PTDI plane intact, but
the money that comes in goes on
an ongoing basis and enter every month.
"It
would affect the smooth running cash PT
DI," he said while
talking to headline in
his office earlier this week.
In 2012, PT
DI earned revenues of Rp2, 98 trillion,
which accounted for sales
of components to Airbus Rp113 billion. In
fact, this year Airbus requested
that the delivery of components to the European
carriers improved from a
set of wings per day into two sets.
Airbus has higher production standards, so PTDI continue
to improve the ability to attempt to
supply components for the
airline. By cooperating with Airbus, automatic image PTDI in
the world airline
industry will increase.
"PTDI
this time, apply standards of Airbus aircraft manufacturing to administration. Alhamdulillah, we have
never failed to meet
the demand for Airbus,"
said Budi.
