In its official
statement, UNESCO plans to include Mount Fuji in Japan as
a world heritage
site again.
Japanese Cultural
Institute delivered, the UN
Advisory Board members recommend Mount Fuji to be registered to Unesco.
The official decision is expected to
be taken as a
Unesco World Heritage Council met
in Cambodia in
June.
Mount Fuji
is Japan's highest mountain with an altitude of 3,776 meters. The
volcano last erupted approximately 300 years
ago. Located in
the southwest of Tokyo, Mount
Fuji can be seen
from the city center
on a sunny day. Mountain that looks
almost symmetrical this is one of the three holy
mountains in Japan
than Mount Tate
and Mount Haku.

has approved the acceptance
of Mount Fuji in
the list of Unesco. Incomos
responsible for evaluating the nominated cultural property in the World Heritage List and collect it at the annual meeting recommendations Unesco.
