Syrian opposition attacked the airport in the Syrian Air Force Menagh, province of Aleppo, northern Syria on Saturday (05/04/2013). According to AP based on eyewitness testimony, with a barrage of heavy weapons that make Syrian troops failed to defend the airfield.
Witnesses said also that the attacks came from all directions. While, Syrian pro-government radio Sham who proclaim information that Syrian forces would be able to avenge the attack.
Even so, the radio also reported that the Brigade Commander Mahmoud Ali Airport and two of his bodyguards were killed in the crossfire. Menagh airport became the target of opposition groups since last January because of its strategic position.
Until this news was uploaded, there is no information about the number of dead and wounded on both sides. The condition is also uncharted airport.
