Intelligence officials and a senior Israeli security expressed their concerns about the strike department staff abroad and urge Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intervened to end it.
The leaders of the Israeli Secret Service (Mossad), Shin Bet security agency and the department of military affairs has told Netanyahu who also served as foreign minister that the strike had been detrimental to Israel's security.
As reported by the official IRNA news agency, in March, Israel's overseas departments began to strike in protest against what they call "wage erosion and dissolution of the foreign department."
The strike led to tensions between the intelligence services and foreign department. Because the staff refused to issue a diplomatic passport for ministers and arrange their trips abroad.
In addition, the foreign department staff plans to hold a long march towards the Israeli parliament (Knesset) on Tuesday (11/6) morning.
