It took two cranes Evacuation Pigeons Agency in Kupang Airport


Merpati airframe that crashed in El Tari Airport, Kupang till tonight still not evacuated. But the party would move the agency insists Merpati plane from the runway today.

Aircraft with flight number MZ 6517 experienced Hard Landing on runway 07 El Tari Airport, Kupang at around 9:40 pm. Until the early evening, the fuselage had not been evacuated. Fikri reasoned, crane towing new fuselage arrived around 17:00 pm, so the evacuation effort was hampered

"What is clear crane was at the airport at 5 this afternoon, and we plan to pull it with two cranes," Fikri.

Previously due to this incident, El Tari Kupang Airport was temporarily closed and the aircraft suffered a number of delays. Head of Public Communication Ministry of Transportation Bambang S Ervan explained closing the airport for evacuation airframe and investigation process.

So far, the team from the Ministry of Transportation had already left for EL Tari Airport, Kupang to investigate the cause of the accident. Fortunate in the incident there were no casualties. 46 passengers and four crew survived otherwise.
