Islamic Solidarity Games participants reach 38 countries

Roy Suryo.
The number of participating countries of the third Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG) rose to 38 countries from the previous 25 ones, following the issuance of new presidential decree relating to the ISG implementation, a minister said.

The increasing number of ISG participants occurred with regard to certainty stipulated in the presidential decree on the ISG number 23/2013 as of July 2013 as a change of Presidential Decree number 15/2012, Youth and Sports Minister Roy Suryo said here on Wednesday.

"The new presidential decree (Keppres) becomes a legal basis to conduct the ISG in Palembang (South Sumatra). Meanwhile, the Presidential Decree number 15/2012 was a legal basis for the ISG implementation in Pekanbaru, Riau," he said.

According to him, the ISG removal from Pekanbaru to Palembang because the former was not ready to host the international event.

The minister also said, Riau was replaced due to its inadequate sports facility that reflected its inability and unpreparedness to hold the ISG.

In addition, Riau Governor Rusli Zainal who was also the ISG organizing committee chairman, had been named a suspect in a graft case by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

The increasing number of participating countries in ISG is an official information issued by the Islamic Solidarity Games Federation (ISSF), Suryo said.

"I have received the report from ISSF about the participants. Some countries have registered directly to join ISG and several others have registered through internet. This is such a great progress," he said.

ISSF perceived the new presidential decree is a form of assurance of Indonesian government in holding the multi-sport event of Islamic countries, said Suryo.

"ISSF was grateful because Indonesia has officially convinced itself to host the third ISG following the release of new decree," he said.

The third ISG was scheduled to hold 13 sports events such as football, wushu, volleyball, taekwondo, badminton, aquatic, basketball, archery and tennis.

The event of ISG will be centered at Jaka Baring Sports City but three sports event namely, volleyball, wushu and basketball will be played outside the sports complex.

Lebaran remittances estimated to reach Rp15 trillion

"Usually remittances would rise sharply in the month of Ramadhan and ahead of Lebaran. It would be seen from big transfers of money to the home regions of migrant workers," Manpower Minister Muhaimin Iskandar said.  "

Indonesia`s Manpower Minister Muhaimin Iskandar estimated remittances from migrant workers during the current fasting month and ahead of the post-fasting holiday of Lebaran this year could reach Rp15 trillion.

"Usually remittances would rise sharply in the month of Ramadhan and ahead of Lebaran. It would be seen from big transfers of money to the home regions of migrant workers," he said here on Friday.

Actually remittances outside Ramadhan and Lebaran have also been quite big but they usually would rise sharply ahead of Lebaran, he said.

"Some workers send money through banks while others non-bank financial institutions. Many others send by entrusting it to fellow workers who return home," he said.

The minister hoped families of the workers would use the money for productive activities and only for important purposes.

They must "use the money wisely and not use it for consumptive purposes. It should be used for productive things or business," he said.

Muhaimin hoped the money would help move village community economic activities.

"Consumptive usage would only increase economic activities temporarily. It will be different if the money is invested in business sectors that could create jobs such as in agriculture, plantation or trade," he said.

He deplored the use of the money for buying items such as motorcycles, electronic goods or improving houses.

He said his office had conducted counseling and skill training in workers-sending centers to change their consumptive attitude, such as training in entrepreneurship and car repair.

Remittances from migrant workers in various countries are estimated to reach Rp100 trillion a year.

Poles divided over slaughter for kosher and halal meat

Frozen meat is on display in a supermarket
Polish farmers marched through Warsaw's streets Wednesday to back government plans to repeal a ban on the religious slaughter of animals.

Lawmakers will vote Friday on a government draft law that would reinstate religious slaughter provided it is done only in slaughterhouses and excludes certain forms of immobilizing the animal. The vote's outcome could go either way, since the issue is divisive and some among the ruling party's lawmakers oppose the practice.

Until January, Poland was making about 500 million euros (650 million USD) per year exporting kosher and halal meat to Israel and Muslim countries like Egypt and Iran. But the business practically ground to a halt in January, after ritual slaughter was banned under pressure from animals' rights groups, which say it causes unnecessary suffering because the livestock aren't stunned before being killed.

Islamic and Jewish slaughter involves a swift cut to the throat of a conscious animal and death by bleeding. Polish law requires that an animal be stunned first. About 150 farmers with a life-size figure of a cow marched to parliament and the Agriculture Ministry to back the government plan, but around 100 artists and intellectuals issued a letter opposing it.

"We appeal for a vote against the slaughter of animals in Poland without stunning," well known academics and actors said in the letter. "Exposing conscious beings to pre-terminal suffering, while we kill them for our own needs, is a terrifying evil and the majority of Poles age against it."

But at stake are about 6,000 jobs offered by the industry, at a time when around 13 percent of adult Poles are without a job, and major contracts. About 200,000 tons of kosher or halal beef and poultry were exported annually before the ban, or up to 30 percent of Poland's beef exports and about 10 percent of poultry exports, according to Witold Choinski, the head of an organization of meat producers.

In a sign of the industry's success, exports were growing between 20 and 30 percent per year recently as the largely agricultural Poland has capitalized on its low labor costs and a reputation for healthy farm animals.

Revolutionary Sufi doctrine

Historical phenomenon, symbols of religious rituals and norms conceptual religious teachings containing the messages liberation ethics for human life. Religions teach good spirit of resistance in the form of cultural resistance, political resistance, psychological resistance, and all the other stiff resistance.

Function of religion is a vehicle that is as liberators from oppression of human rebellion because rebellion is a rejection of authority. Sometimes the rebellion occurs because social upheaval of religious legitimacy. This book is proof that religion appears as a mosaic ethical liberation in Banten peasant uprising on July 9, 1888.

In the altar 1870 to 1888, subject to the power of the people Banten government officials. The civil service became the colonial agents as tax collector Banten people. Banten farmer suffocated because the obligation to pay taxes and have to sell their products at a low price. Plus disease outbreaks and natural disasters are all dodging kelindan be a complex affliction. This also encourages the farmers to end all suffering with rebelling against the government and affiliated with the Dutch authorities.

The reality, though people have a tradition of Banten revolt but they are subject to government superiority. Social unrest peaked but did not budge. Rebellion began to emerge from among the religious elite and the aristocrats were also reinforced by their religious hatred against infidels rule (page 9).

Hendri F Isnaeni in this book with a cool life narrative, more colorful and certainly convincing, able to unravel the thread that made the legitimacy of religious doctrine in Banten peasant rebellion. In his research, Hendri reveal important facts are not known in advance, including key figures in the Banten peasant revolt of Sheikh Abd al-Karim al-Banteni. Sheikh Abdul Karim is a cleric Qadiriyya Naqsyabandiyyah congregation who was instrumental to the formulator and provider of revolutionary ideology (page 22).

Religious spirit imaginatively and creatively interpreted and formulated into a revolutionary ideology of resistance against colonial forces. The ideological concoction transformed into Sufi doctrine of the revolutionary movement that evokes the souls of Banten people to stand up to challenge the Dutch imperialists.

Religious doctrines delivered Shaykh Abd al-Karim al-Banteni the arrival of Imam Mahdi, the Prophet Muhammad's final warning, establishing a state of Islam (dar al-Islam), and Sabil War (Jihad fi sabilillah), which is then planted by the students such Marjuki Haji, Haji Ismail Tubagus, and Haji WASID, has become a rational basis for doing pemberontakaan. The religious doctrine to trump Shaykh Abd al-Karim Banten in inspiring people to insurrection.

Interestingly, Hendri interpret the intent of the doctrine of the coming of Imam Mahdi Ramallah a savior figure who will show up to save the world from all kinds of sins. Apparently it's become a mission in order to spread fear to the Dutch authorities (see page 66).

This book brilliantly illustrates the patterns of farmers pemberantakan Banten which originated from consolidation under the guise of gatherings such as parties, weddings or circumcision parties. Meetings smaller using the guise of remembrance meeting. That happens, the civil service as well as on European officials do not see a suspicious or dangerous activity.

Reading this book will be presented with the historical fact that the revival of religion has become a revolutionary movement that brought by the clergy and the peasants were oppressed in the power of European governments and the civil service Banten. A book written by the prolific young historian who helped uncover treasures of Islamic intellectual history of the archipelago with a brilliant narrative and solid theory.

Climbing Ridha Allah in Sha'ban Month

Attendees Muslims who blessed God Praise to God we prayed to Allah Almighty, because today we are all still enjoying the beautiful month of Sha'ban. Sha'ban is the eighth month in the Hijri calendar.
In language the word "Sha'ban" means "flocking". The name is adapted to the tradition of the Arabs flocking to make a living in that month). Including the month of Sha'ban is glorified by the Prophet. than four months, namely Qa `dah, Dhu al-Hijjah, Muharram, and Rajab. One of the glorification of the Prophet. Shaban is the month he fasted a lot this month.
Faya Ma'asyiral Muslims Rahimakumullah Let us together to maintain the quality of our taqwa to Allah swt. to execute his orders and avoid ban-ban with full awareness and conviction.
Because only the way we approach taqwalah Allah swt. attain happiness both in this world and the Hereafter, which God hath spoken in yunus 63-64
(Namely) those who believe and they are always cautious * For those glad tidings in the life of the world and (in the life of the Hereafter}. There is no change for sentences (promises) of God. Such is the victory that large.
Attendees Muslims who blessed God

Praise to God we prayed to Allah Almighty, because today we are all still enjoying the beautiful month of Sha'ban.
Hadith narrated by Imam an-Nasa'i and Abu Dawud and Ibn Huzaimah validated by states, bin Laden said on Rasululllah Saw., 'O Messenger of Allah, I do not see the Apostle fasting (circumcision) as the Apostles did in the month of Sha'ban. ' Allah's Apostle said: 'The month of Sha'ban is a month between Rajab and Ramadan which is forgotten by most people.' "
"That month (Sha'ban) is between Rajab and Ramadan is the month of the forgotten man, and he is a month of worship appointed him to the Lord of Nature, so I love that my deeds in the lift when I am fasting". (Narrated by an-Nasa'i)
Attendees Muslims who Budiman Therefore, at the beginning of the month of Sha'ban, let us reinforce this belief and our faith. While there is still time, while there is a full month of Sha'ban primacy and privilege. Maybe that's why this month is said to 'sya'aban', because Rajab which comes from the word syi'ab could be interpreted as a path to the summit. Meaning month of Sha'ban is a month of preparation provided by Allah to the servants to climb and explore their faith in preparation for summit 'Ramadan'.
Climbing trip to the top is not easy. Require minimal preparations are sometimes very tiring and draining energy. Remember that the job requires climbing a wide variety of training. Similarly, the peak in the month of Sha'ban climbing course climbing it requires sincerity and pure intentions because businesses are climbing higher towards that must be passed with a little hard and earned. The difficulty will be felt when we choose to fast in the month of Sha'ban as a form of climbing to the summit.
Prophet said that the month of Sha'ban, because the scattering is called virtue in it. Whoever fasted three days at the beginning of the month of Sha'ban, three days on and three days in the middle of it eventually. Then Allah will write for him the reward of seventy prophets, and such worship seventy years, and jiakalau men died in this year will be given preikat martyrdom.
Ma'asyiral Mu'minin Rahimakumullah
The climb to the summit in the month of Sha'ban is also can be done by many istighfar and ask for forgiveness for all the sins we have done in previous months. Neither the sins we committed in the form of actions and behavior as well as the visible presence of sin in the heart and the invisible, and it is this last sin which sometimes accumulate more sins compare behavior. Ujub, sum'ah, takabbur and so forth;
Let us go into an-Nahl verse 78: والله أخرجكم من بطون أمهاتكم لا تعلمون شيئا وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة لعلكم تشكرون And God brought you out of your mother's nakedness in a state of knowing nothing, and He gave you hearing and sight and hearts, that ye may be grateful
Is not the verse as requiring people to always repentant and sober bahwasannya various positions us in this world, position, power, wealth, valor, intelligence and everything is a gift from Allah, and man at first did not understand anything what.
Therefore, if to having in our hearts as human beings and to be kepamilikan late-I realized that it was vanity and ketakabburan very sinful. Especially if it is accompanied by a feeling of deliberate denying Allah swt. segralah then repent. God himself threatens people like this in the letter Taha verse 124:
ومن أعرض عن ذكري فإن له معيشة ضنكا ونحشره يوم القيامة أعمى
And whosoever turns away from My reminder, verily for him is a narrow life, and We will menghimpunkannya on the Day of Resurrection in a state of blind. " Thus, the Muslim Ma'asyiral
Subject needs to be every man is always prostrate and devotion to God Almighty. every time, every time, the rank, the more intelligent, more rich, more firmly, then prostration should be getting in and full of meaning.
As the end of the sermon, let us at this special time in full fadhilah Sy'aban this, we climb along with running a variety of righteous deeds and ask for forgiveness and His magfirah, so we'll get dipuncak later as a man who is ready to run keinsaniyahannya in front of the Deity

Bathing reason Mayit

Why the deceased should be bathed? Because basically dead person can not bathe themselves. This answer is not a joke answer. But the answer of glasses fiqh. Because actually bathe deceased is a demand for those who are still living with the deceased reasons inability to bathe himself. Thus described in Tuhaftul Habib, Juz 2.

Therefore if a dead person is able to bathe himself, then fell off family obligations surviving relatives. And it is considered valid. Like that ever happened to Abdullah al-Wali Allah karomah Manufi and Al-Badawi Quthbus Syahir Sayyidil Ahmadil, qaddasallahu siraahuma.

This incident is a testament to the advantages possessed by the famous auliyaullah karomah name. Thus embodied in Kasyifatus Only:

ولو غسل نفسه كرامة كفى كما وقع لسيد أحمد البدوى أمدنا الله بمدده

And if (deceased) bathe himself is considered sufficient. As ever happened to karomah Sayyid Ahmad al-Badawi amaddanallahu bimadadihi.

But for the deceased who are unable to bathe themselves, then for the relatives left behind have to bathe her, as mengafani, meshalati and mengkuburkannya.

It just needs to be understood first bahwasannya reason to bathe deceased are not the same by reason of washing dishes or clothes aimed at eliminating unclean and sanctified.

Because it's not actually contain hadats deceased, and deceased nor unclean items.

However, the reason deceased bathe more on respect. As stated in the book IQNA 'that there are three reasons purification, to remove impure, or even eliminate hadats to respect:

وجه الدلالة أن الطهارة اما لحدث اوخبث اوتكرمة ولاحدث على الإناء ولاتكرمة فتعينت طهارة الخبث

Thus information about the deceased bathe reasons, which must be understood for all good Muslims who will be bathed and were about to bathe themselves. Wallau knows best (red. Ulil H)

Bury pilgrimage in Month of Sha'ban

Month of Sha'ban has arrived, most of the people we call the month of Sha'ban month ruwah. Ruwah word synonymous with the word spirit, indeed the two are related.

Named ruwah month because this month is the month in which the spirits of ancestors who have preceded us see the families left behind in the world. And surviving family droves pray the ancestors before the month of Ramadan. Either through prayer, almsgiving, and tahmid tahlil or directly on a pilgrimage to the grave.

Be a special month of Sha'ban month, meaning that there are some traditions that prevail in this month which is not implemented in other months. Among the traditions are looked grave or tomb meziarahi parents, grandparents, siblings, family relatives, husband or wife, son or father who had preceded.

There are many different names for the pilgrimage tradition the tomb before the month of Ramadan or at the end of the month of Sha'ban. Some say the term arwahan, nyekar (around Central Java), Kosar (around East Java), munggahan (around tatar Sunda) and so forth. For some people, this is a kind of obligation felt that when there is less left foot to meet fasting in Ramadan.

Therefore it is necessary menenegok back several matters relating to the pilgrimage grave problem. Due to the fact many ta'bir and wisdom stored in it, is able to make the pilgrimage grave as one of the traditions that survive around us.

In the early days of Islam, the Prophet was once banned Muslim pilgrimage to the grave, given the state of their faith by the time it is still weak. And the condition of Arab society sociological mindset that era still dominated by polytheism and belief in the gods and god. Prophet feared a misunderstanding when they visited the grave both in behavior and in prayer.

However, with the passage of time, the reason is not contextual and allow Rasulullahpun grave pilgrimage. According to the Messenger of Allah in Sunan Turmudzi no 973

Hadeeth of Buraidah he said that the Messenger of Allah said "I've banned pilgrimages grave. But now Muhammad had been given permission to visit the tomb of his mother. So now berziarahlah ..! because it can alert you to the afterlife.

Truly, it is the basic legal permissibility illat pilgrimage to the tomb (reason) 'tazdkiratul akhirah' which reminds us of the Hereafter. Therefore justified pilgrimage to the tomb of the parents and also to the tomb of the righteous and the trustees. During the pilgrimage to remind us of the Hereafter. Similarly, the pilgrimage to the tombs of the saints and the righteous is a virtue that is recommended, as the opinion of Ibn Hajar al-Haytami in the book 'Al-Fatawa al-fiqhiyah al-Kubra'.

He asked about a pilgrimage to the tomb of the trustees at any given time with less make a special trip to their graves. He replied, pilgrimage to the tombs of the wali is disunnahkan worship. Similarly, a trip to their graves.

As to the wisdom of the grave pilgrimage Nawawi al-Banteni have written them in such statement Nihayatuz Zain "disunnahkan for pilgrimage grave, anyone who is religious visit to the tomb of his parents or one of them every Friday, then Allah forgive his sins and he is recorded as children are obedient and dutiful to his parents "...

Such is the wisdom behind the grave pilgrimage, how it is to be an opportunity for anyone who feels lacking in devotion to his parents during his lifetime. Even in keteragan seanjutnya still Nihayatuz Zain explained in the book "Whoever religious visit to the grave of his parents every Friday reward as Hajj".

What Nawawi said in Nihayuatuz Zain is also present in several other books, even complete with narrators sequence. As found in al-Mu `jam al-Kabir lit Tabhrani juz 19

Prophet said "whoever pilgrimage to the tomb of his parents or one of them every Friday the Allah forgive his sins and he is recorded as a dutiful son and to obey his parents.

As for the reward of Hajj which is provided by God Almighty to those who are religious visit to the grave of his parents are in the book Al-maudhu'at based on the hadith of Ibn 'Umar.

Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever pilgrimage to the tomb of the father or mother, uncle or aunt, or pilgrimage to the tomb of one of the family, then the reward is equal to Hajj Mabrur. And those who committed and his death came on pilgrimage to the tomb of the angels will always be religious visit to the grave "

But not so legal pilgrimage to the tomb of a Muslim. Given the weak sense of womanhood, then the law is a religious visit to the family grave makruh. Because it would facilitate women's weakness restless, difficult to tears at the grave. That is what is feared and forbidden in Islam. As stated in the book I'anatut Thalibin.Sedangkan a Muslim pilgrimage to the tomb of the Prophet, the trustees and the righteous people is sunnah.

Dimakruhkan grave pilgrimage for women because it tends to help on the condition that weakens the heart and soul.

The length of the description, the grave remains a pilgrimage traditions need to be preserved because it does not conflict with the Islamic Shari'ah. Sayyidina Umar advice on Culture Replicate

Medina is the heart of Islamic civilization at the time. Muslims still maintain a relatively simple lifestyle as taught by the Prophet Muhammad. But far beyond the city of Medina, the situation is slightly different. Many cities that have known Roman Empire or Persian culture has a habit of putting their leaders in majestic buildings, fancy dress and other aristocratic habits.

As Caliph Umar felt worried the authorities would face disease individualistic (no matter the condition of the people), materialistic (accumulate personal wealth) and hedonisitik (momentary pleasure hunt) as the rulers of Persia and Rome.

He worried that the negative foreign culture can undermine the values of Islam understated that have been built by the Prophet. For that Umar felt it necessary to send a letter to the mayor of Azerbaijan, Uthbah bin Farqad.

In the saga of Abu Uthman An Nahdi, Umar had sent a letter to Uthbah, the mayor Azerbaijan. The letter contained a warning that says Omar  "O Utbah bin Farqad! The post was not the result of your labor and toil nor your father and mother. Because the feast of the Muslims in their country with what is glut in your house, avoid extravagance, avoid wearing clothing experts shirk and avoid wearing silk. "

Umar's rebuke based hadith of the Prophet, "Whoever resembles a people means he's part of the people."

Thus umar interpret impersonation (tasyabuh) the negative cultural as something dangerous. Imitation was also indicated weak chameleon personality that's easy to create a generation adrift and it works just tagging along.

While culture is trailing reworded by the Prophet in the hadith: "You have to follow the sunnah of those before you inch by inch, cubit by cubit. So if they get into the lizard hole, you still follow them. "
